I recently had a friend who recently broke up with his girlfriend. When I asked my other friends who spilled the beans why they broke up they had no idea, but replied “It must be hard though, because they had been together for 12 years.”

Twelve years?!? Goodness gracious! Twelve years and no ring, thats crazyness. I had never heard of that before. I’m guessing alot of women start to itch for that ring after that 3 year mark? Probably more like 4 years? What do you all think? How long is too long to wait for that ultimate commitment?

Every time i break up with someone, I have this urge to change my hair up. I dont know why, but I just want something fresh and new. Now for anyone out there that doesnt know, its hard for black women’s hair to grow. Then, when it does grow it grows super slow. However, I’m thinking about cutting all my hair off. I posted one pic that is only cutting off a bit. I was also thinking about Rihanna’s new cut, but thats a little too short. Anywhooo, can someone help a sista out?

Tyra has posed for an entire spread as Michelle Obama for Harper’s Bazaar magazine. We all know that Tyra can take some good pictures, but can they give Michelle a chance please? I dont understand why they didnt just let Michelle do her own spread? I’m glad that the Obamas are getting so much good publicity, but can we get the actual person please?

One more thing, who in the world did the casting for the daugthers in this shoot? How are you gonna have 2 light caramel looking people, and then they casted both of the daughters to be extra chocolate? Their daughters dont look like that.

So, is this supposed to be considered hip hop…or even music? This song just irritates the crap out of me because its so ridiculous. I seriously get disgusted with this dang song. What has hip hop come to? Can we please get some more artists like Lupe Fiasco, Common, and The Roots out there? Goodness, i thought i saw the puppet strings for a second in the video…but maybe i was seeing things.

I didn’t feel like driving anywhere for lunch today, gas prices are ridiculous.      So  I decided to head right across the way to good ol’ B.K. I haven’t eaten there in over a year, but I decided that one day of bad food couldn’t be to bad for me, right? Anywho, I see that they have a veggie burger on the menu and decide to give it a try. Oh honey, it was terrible. There was a huge water chestnut in the actual burger patty. It was THE WORST veggie burger that I have ever eaten. It was all to the terrible. Never, ever, again.
